Matt Itami serves as the Vice President of Auction Operations at Dealers Auto Auction Group, LLC, where he oversees regional auction locations and collaborates with senior leaders on financial and technological strategies. With over a decade in the automotive sector, Matt’s journey includes key roles at Inviso, LLC, and notable leadership positions at Flint Auto Auction and ADESA Chicago, the latter earning multiple accolades under his stewardship, including auction of the year honors.
Recognized as a 40 Under 40 Nominee by Auto Remarketing in 2020, Matt is driven by a zeal for process enhancement, operational efficiency, and tech-driven financial optimization.
Beyond his corporate achievements, Matt enjoys golfing, coaching baseball, and taking on home renovation projects. Based in metro Detroit with his family, he boasts a BS in Business Administration and Pre-Law from Michigan State University and an MBA from San Diego State University.
