Founded Dealers Auto Auction Group
November 1, 2001
Dealers Auto Auction was acquired in November 2001 by City Enterprises LLC, under the leadership of David Andrews, the Founder and CEO. David is a pioneering entrepreneur with a robust background in the automotive wholesale/retail sector dating back to the early 1970s. In 1986, he founded City Auto Sales in Memphis, Tennessee, and subsequently expanded the brand to include locations in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Auto Simple in East Tennessee, and Auto Vida in Dallas, Texas. David’s entrepreneurial journey continued in 2001 when he acquired Dealers Auto Auction. Since then, the company has grown to encompass ten locations across six southeastern states. The auction group is a wholesale vehicle marketplace that facilitates over 110,000 vehicle transactions annually. David’s strategic vision focuses on expanding physical auction sites and integrating cutting-edge technologies to provide seamless, round-the-clock services to buyers and sellers.
